Located just south of the Colorado Springs Airport, Bluestem Prairie Open Space is 650 acres of wild grassland with about 6.5 miles of trail. 

The open space is home to a variety of mammals and birds. Including: Pronghorn, Black-tailed prairie dog and Red-tailed hawk, Burrowing owls and Migratory Shorebirds.

NOTE: No dogs and motor vehicles are allowed, due to native wildlife.
