Trail Closure Aug. 5th – 19th
The Palmer-Mesa Trail – which runs alongside Mesa Road — will be closed for approximately two weeks to permit water-related construction work between Kissing Camels Drive and Fillmore Street.
Trail users and other pedestrians are encouraged to cross Mesa Road at signal lights – at either Kissing Camel Drive or Fillmore Street – and use the sidewalk on the west side of Mesa Road.
The trail closure is necessary for the completion of renovations at the Philip H. Tollefson Water Treatment Plant on the Mesa. For more information, call (719) 668-4805.
