El Paso County Master Plan
El Paso County is creating a new Master Plan and is requesting input from current residents. Our community has been experiencing rapid growth and shifting demographics. The new Master Plan will establish priorities, projects, and recommendations to help manage these trends and make El Paso County a more competitive place to live, work, invest, and visit!

Santa Fe Trail Closure
The Air Force Thunderbirds aerial demonstration team is scheduled to conclude the Air Force Academy’s graduation ceremony. The Santa Fe Trail and roads under the show area will be closed during the performance on Thursday, May 30th.

PopCycle Family Ride with Mayor Suthers

June is Bike Month and what better way to celebrate community, biking and local trails than with a family friendly ride to the PopCycle Bridge. Bring your required helmet and bike. Planning for
Browns Canyon National Monument

The BLM and USFS is preparing a Resource Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement for Browns Canyon National Monument. The 21,604-acre monument is located in the Upper Arkansas River Valley, between Buena Vista and Salida. The scenic river canyon, with rugged backcountry, was designated a National Monument in 2015.
