Work begins on two trails
in Garden of the Gods
Work has begun in Garden of the Gods Park on the Foothills Trail and the Gateway Trail. Crews will work to realign part of the Gateway Trail from 30th Street into the park, providing a more accessible pathway. A new pedestrian bridge will also be constructed over Camp Creek. The Foothills Trail, which runs parallel to 30th Street near Rock Ledge Ranch, will be relocated and improved in order to eliminate conflict with the overflow parking lot at Rock Ledge Ranch.
Watch for closures and detours.
