Burn bans in effect across the region
Outdoor burn bans are in effect in Colorado SpringsEl Paso County,MonumentFountainManitou Springs, and all of Teller County.
Stage Two fire restrictions in effect for the Pike National Forest.

Fire conditions are critical! Private fireworks are illegal. Please, be careful and watchful to protect our lands and our homes.
Public fireworks displays are on at Memorial Park and SkySox Stadium in Colorado Springs, and the Riverwalk in Pueblo. Fireworks have been cancelled in Cripple Creek, Manitou Springs and Woodland Park.

Bear Creek Park is one of the most used parks in El Paso County and it needs some love.
Help with general trail maintenance, area clean up, tread repair, improving water drainage features and corridor clearing. If you have time, please join the after-party for a complimentary beer or beverage at a local Manitou Tavern.
