BBQ and donation day at MER June 9
Join Mountain Equipment Recyclers and Trails and Open Space Coalition for a fun donation day and BBQ! TOSC will be on hand from 11 am -1 pm providing tax donation receipts for folks donating gently used outdoor gear on their behalf. We’ll also be promoting the Starlight, so come out for special on-site only deals!

TOSC is the featured Non-Profit during the month of June at Mountain Equipment Recyclers (MER)!
Cleaning out your garage or attic? Consider donating those gently used hiking shoes, clothes, back packs, sleeping bags, tents – you get the idea.
When you drop them off at Mountain Equipment Recycling on our behalf, we get 50% of the proceeds when they are sold. MER is located at 1024 S. Tejon..

Join the Trails and Open Space Coalition for the 24th Annual Starlight Spectacular on June 16th, 2018. This fun and family-friendly night-time bicycle ride is suitable for most ages and abilities. We’ve had kids as young as 8 and adults in their 80s ride with us! Get out your western wear and celebrate the Wild, Wild West!

Volunteer Interpreters needed at Rainbow Falls

Rainbow Falls Historic Site will be open starting in July on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 10 am – 4 pm.
Volunteers are needed for 3 hour shifts.
Help us preserve Rainbow Falls and share its unique story with others through interpretation. Interpreters will provide visitors with Rainbow Falls history, current restorations, trail locations, park rules and regulations, and overall orientation. Training will be provided.

PikeRIDE, a program of Downtown Ventures, the charitable nonprofit arm of Downtown Partnership, needs your help! They have 208 bikes that need to be unpackaged, assembled, decals placed,
smartkit installed, and tested!
*No specific skill set required.
