Join the Friends of the Equestrian Skills Course for an evening of great entertainment while they raise money for expanding the Course in Colorado Springs! The concert venue and silent auction will be at the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame’s outdoor garden. Support the ONLY FREE Equestrian Skills Course of this kind in the USA!
- Barry Ward grew up on the western plains of Kansas. Barry, or “Bear” as he has come to be known by his friends, worked alongside his father and grandfather, working cattle and farm work. His long list of honors include 2014, 2015 and 2017 CD of the Year, Rural Roots Music Commission and 2014 Kansas Cowboy Hall of Fame Inductee, Cowboy Artist/Entertainer, just to name a few.
- Opening for Barry will be local up-and-coming artist, 13-year-old Randi Keira. Her honors include winner of the 2016 El Paso County Amazing Kids talent show and winner of the 2014-2017 4-H county contest and state fair contest with her Uncle Bruce as an accompanist.
- Sergio “Trigger” Schaeffer is our MC for the evening. Trigger is known for performing all over Colorado as a cowboy poet, storyteller and ranch rodeo announcer.
Concessions will be available. Gate opens at 5:30. Silent auction begins at 6:00. Entertainment begins at 6:45. Tickets are free for under 10, $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Reserved seats and reserved tables are also available.
