The Colorado Springs Parks Dept is partnering with the Garden of the Gods Foundation to offer a shuttle service between Memorial Day and Labor Day to cut down on congestion. Two 15-seat shuttles will operate from 9 am to 4 pm, picking up visitors in the Rock Ledge Ranch parking lot, swinging through the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center for a stop and then dropping off at the end of Gateway Road where they will walk the paved trail to the central garden. Adventures out West has been contracted to provide the shuttles and drivers..
“Motorless Morning Redux”
Motorless Morning on April 22nd was considered a success with plans to try it again in late September/October. 200+ participated. Public response to the event was overwhelmingly positive. Parks staff will look into partnering with local Bike Groups for volunteer support to lower park costs.

This is the perfect hike! Tough at first with some climbing, then you get the reward of AMAZING views and a nice easy downhill finish. We’ll hike to the top of Dewey Mountain, with views of the town and Ute Pass, then the easy Bratton Trail winds its way generally southwest and down until it meets the Catamount Trail.

Live Dream Colorado donates annually to help protect our natural spaces in COS
Live Dream Colorado, a local real estate firm comprised of Realtors® Lauren D Collier and Rob Hoben, recently donated $1,794.69 to Trails and Open Space Coalition (TOSC). As a member of international nonprofit organization 1% for the Planet, Live Dream Colorado pledges to donate 1% of annual income to support the environment.

And we chose Trails and Open Space Coalition as our nonprofit partner because they preserve the outdoor environment in Colorado Springs, which makes for our incredible quality of life here. 2018 Crit Races and Beginner Session May 15
Tierra Plan Community Crits presented by Southern Colorado Velo
May 15 Intro session designed for beginner/novice racers to get their feet wet. Participants will receive instruction from cycling coaches and experts as well as participate in a race simulation.
PikeRIDE, a program of Downtown Ventures, the charitable nonprofit arm of Downtown Partnership, needs your help! They have 208 bikes that need to be unpackaged, assembled, decals placed,
smartkit installed, and tested!

Get outside and learn to fish at Willow Springs Ponds! This is a free fishing derby for children ages 5 to 15. Bring your own rod, reel, tackle, and bait.
