Shuttles in the Garden; More “Motorless Morning”

Shuttles in the Garden of the Gods
May – Sept

The Colorado Springs Parks Dept is partnering with the Garden of the Gods Foundation to offer a shuttle service between Memorial Day and Labor Day to cut down on congestion. Two 15-seat shuttles will operate from 9 am to 4 pm, picking up visitors in the Rock Ledge Ranch parking lot, swinging through the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center for a stop and then dropping off at the end of Gateway Road where they will walk the paved trail to the central garden. Adventures out West has been contracted to provide the shuttles and drivers..

“Motorless Morning Redux”
Motorless Morning on April 22nd was considered a success with plans to try it again in late September/October. 200+ participated. Public response to the event was overwhelmingly positive. Parks staff will look into partnering with local Bike Groups for volunteer support to lower park costs.
