The Pikes Peak Greenway/Santa Fe Trail along Monument Creek north of University Village is OPEN. It’s been closed since October for Colorado Springs Utilities work in the area. One benefit of the project is that the contractor put back the trail in much better shape than it was before. A portion of the asphalt was in poor shape and was replaced with concrete. The asphalt removal and concrete installation adhered to the City of CS, Parks & Recreation Specifications and Standards, which includes ADA compliant trails.
