The Trails and Open Space Coalition is pleased to announce the opening of the 2018 Crew Leader Training application period. If you aspire to work on trails and lead stewardship projects this may be the training for you. The training will be held on May 4th – 6th at the Bear Creek Nature Center. Space is limited so apply early if you want to secure a spot. Training cost is $25 and includes food during the training.
This year’s training is hosted by the Trails and Open Space Coalition, the Rocky Mountain Field Institute, the Friends of the Peak and City of Colorado Springs. Training includes leadership skills, trail construction and resource restoration. All applicants must have work day experience, agree to a background check (no cost) and participate in two post-training work days.
