The State of the Rockies Project, is hosting Luis Benitez, Director of Colorado’s Office of Outdoor Recreation Industry. He will deliver a presentation titled “Outdoor Recreation Industry – Innovation and Inspiration in Colorado.” Luis’ talk will focus generally around the work being done through the Office of Outdoor Recreation Industry, which may include the Outdoor Retailer show, the trend of businesses engaging in public land advocacy/political activism, and what the future of the industry may hold for Colorado.
Monday, March 5th at 7pm in Gaylord Hall at the Worner Student Center on Colorado College’s campus.
The State of the Rockies Project is in its fifteenth year, and seeks to increase public understanding of vital issues affecting the Rocky Mountain West. All State of the Rockies events are free and open to the public, who are encouraged to join the ongoing discussion of the issues that affect our beautiful yet fragile region.
