The Shooks Run Trail is closed between Pikes Peak and Costilla Ave. The detour route goes west on Costilla to Wahsatch, north on Wahsatch to Pikes Peak Ave, and east back to the trail. Signage at the barriers say that a new Storm Sewer installation under Pikes Peak Avenue is the reason for the closure, which will be in effect until October 22.
