The City of Colorado Springs is seeking volunteers (two seated positions and alternates) to serve on the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services Advisory Board. Members of the board advise City Council on matters pertaining to the planning, development, improvement, beautification, equipping, and maintaining of public parks, playgrounds, programs, urban forest, recreation facilities and resources including golf courses and center street parking. Meetings are held the second Thursday of every month at 7:30 a.m. Additional time is needed to review all documents related to the monthly agenda, site visits, subcommittees, and special work sessions.
