Bike Colorado Springs–Global fat bike day.

Global Fat Bike Day
Saturday, Dec 3, 10 am to 1 pm
505 Babcock Rd, Colorado Springs
Come out with your fat bike or demo a Borealis from their fleet. Tour the Sand Creek water resource project, created to stabilize the creek channel, reduce erosion and reduce the sediment that flows downstream. This project will help to protect the Platte Avenue bridge and utility crossings, protect other public and private properties, and provide amenities for the public. The City of Colorado Springs is incorporating these components into the design phase of the project, so there are NO additional costs to our citizens!
This is a cooperative event with the City, Bike Colorado Springs, the Greenway Fund, the Colorado Springs Flea Market and others. Blackjack Pizza and Peaks n Pines are contributors.
Email for more information or to request a demo fat bike. (Bring your own helmet!) Here’s a link to the Facebook event.

“PlanCOS” to chart the City’s future course.

“What do you want Colorado Springs to be in 10-20 years?” #PlanCOS will set the stage for the city’s future. It’s time for Colorado Springs to get citizens involved to create a plan for the next 10 to 20 years for our City. Have your say about the direction of the City!
The Trails and Open Space Coalition is part of the steering committee.  We will help keep you informed, or use the link below for more info.
