Come out and provide input on a study to determine the long-term needs and vision for Las Vegas Street, which runs from US 85/87 to just south of downtown.
The open house will include displays and exhibits showing the potential concepts in a semi-informal setting. Engineers from the project team and the City of Colorado Springs will be on hand to answer questions and collect public concerns
The study is a wide-ranging look at the safety, aesthetics, functionality and future development of the Las Vegas Corridor, for vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians. With the input and advice of the roadway’s users, residents and businesses, the study will determine the future vision of Las Vegas Street.

Several of the creeks within the watershed suffered from extensive flooding during the summer and fall of 2013. El Paso County, the City of Colorado Springs, the United States Air Force Academy and other regional municipalities and agencies are coordinating their restoration planning and projects to restore the Monument Creek Watershed.
Both meetings are ADA accessible, and will address the alternatives being considered for restoring the watershed.
