Cheyenne Cañon Closures, June 2016.

North Cheyenne Canyon Road will be closed for extended periods in June for milling and re-paving. The roadway and the main Canon will be closed during this time. This project is funded by the 2C road repair tax voted on last year, the so-called “pothole tax.”
Some trails will be closed during these periods. See our blog article for details.
Milling Operations:
June 13th from 6am until June 14th 8pm
Paving Operations:
June 20th from 6am until June 25th at 8pm.
The closure dates are anticipated for 24 hours a day during each phase of the project. Road work will happen during the daytime only.  The closures dates are subject to change as the work is weather dependent.
