GOOD TRAIL NEWS! New Santa Fe Trail re-opens through AFA.

It’s Official–El Paso County Parks officials announced June 7th the re-opening of the New Santa Fe Trail!
Bikers, hikers and runners are rejoicing as a main connector trail through the Air Force Academy was reopened on Tuesday.
The Trail was closed for nearly 14 months after flooding and security concerns caused the Air Force Academy leadership to restrict the trail to those with military identification. El Paso County Parks has been negotiating the re-opening, working on mitigation projects and security “watch groups” to help allay concerns about safety and security.

Final Countdown to liftoff–10 days until the Starlight!
