This Saturday! Creek Week Kickoff, Sept 26
Creek Week Kickoff and Cleanup
Saturday Sept 26, 8 am
Fountain Creek Regional Park
This event is open to the public; have fun with TOSC and make a difference! Sign up here.
 
TOSC will join the Creek Week Kickoff at Fountain Creek Regional Park for the cleanup and fun kickoff activities. We will gather at 8 am for sign in, then take a short hike to our cleanup location. We’ll work until about 11:30, then return to the main staging area to take group photos and do prize drawings.We’ll have special swag for our guests!
Meeting on the Santa Fe Trail through AFA Oct 5.
El Paso County Parks will host a community meeting to discuss the public use of the New Santa Fe Regional Trail through Air Force Academy property. The meeting date has changed:
Monday, October 5, 2015 at 6 p.m.
Location TBA.
 
We encourage the public to come out and make their thoughts known about the New Santa Fe Trail and its future uses.
Waldo Waldo 5K Walk/Run, Oct 17.

The Waldo Waldo 5K is a locally-run family-friendly 5K walk & “fun run” fundraiser for local nonprofits.
The registration fee comes with a Waldo or Wenda costume kit (characters from the popular “Where’s Waldo?” children’s books) that includes a shirt, hat and glasses! Register now; the price increases the morning of the event.
Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day Sat, Oct 3.
The first Saturday in October is Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day! Celebrate by taking your child mountain biking on Sat, Oct 3 at Cheyenne Mountain State Park. This is a day of family fun on the trails.  All kids must be accompanied by an adult. Ultra beginner routes up to advanced riding options planned for the day.

Come out to the PARTY and enjoy live music, free lunch, prizes and giveaways. Shop the great deals at the thrift store, and donate your gently-used household items. Be sure to tell them TOSC sent you!
Shift Thrift takes donations on behalf of local nonprofits and returns a portion of their sales to them. TOSC is one of the first partners, and we are excited about this great concept!
Come out Sat, Sept 26, 10 am5 pm and find out how Shift Thrift is promoting local nonprofits, encouraging recycling and community involvement, and creating jobs.
