Get together with friends in the outdoors, and help make your community cleaner and safer! The second Annual Creek Week is September 26 to October 4, and is open to citizens in all 8 municipalities within the Fountain Creek watershed: Monument, Palmer Lake, Woodland Park, Green Mountain Falls, Manitou Springs, Colorado Springs, Fountain, and Pueblo. Teams of volunteers gather to pick up trash in and around our waterways. You can register your own crew and go out on your own time, or you can participate with others in any of the public events.
One week’s worth of collaborative cleanup can make a huge difference. Start talking to your friends about forming a Creek Crew today, and get ready for Creek Week.
Online registration for groups and individuals begins September 1st at www.fountain-crk.org/cleanup. Public events will be listed at this link as well, as they are confirmed.
