Bear Creek Trail Detour begins Monday, Aug 24

Crews on the Colorado Department of Transportation’s (CDOT) Interstate-25/Cimarron Interchange Design-Build Project will temporarily detour the terminus of the Bear Creek Trail at 8th Street and access under I-25 to the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail will not be available.
The detour is necessary so crews can extend the pedestrian/bicycle underpass for the Bear Creek Trail to accommodate the widening and reconfiguration of I-25. This temporary detour is scheduled to go into effect Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, and will be in place for about three months.

Fort Collins Moves!

Bicycle advocates and city staff from Colorado Springs and Pueblo traveled to Fort Collins to see their world-class bicycle infrastructure.
We saw a well-connected system that uses “best practices” infra-structure to move cyclists in and around the city in a “low-stress network,” with protected bike lanes, wide bike lanes, bike boxes, and road diets.
