Colorado Springs is the only Colorado city with a 30 word limit  for a ballot question.  That’s not many. For  important questions concerning funding Stormwater or Trails/Open Space, the Trails and Open Space Coalition think voters deserve a clear explanation of what they are voting for ( or against). We propose increasing the limit to 100 to better communicate future ballot measures.  This week the Center for Non Profit Excellence agreed with us. We’re asking other organizations and individuals for their support and hope to put this question on the November ballot. Stay tuned!
(And if you were wondering, simply explaining the change from 30 to 100 words took 95 words!)
