Thanks to our riders, volunteers, and sponsors for a wonderful night under the stars. The Pirate theme was a big hit, and all the costumes were fun to see! We’ll have photos coming up soon, so stay tuned.

Bike to Work Day Breakfast 2015
Mayor John Suthers looks like he’s having fun on a Borealis fat bike.
Today, June 24th, is the 22nd Colorado Springs Bike to Work Day, and Colorado Springs came out in style! Mayor John Suthers and a contingent of City Council members, kids’ groups and community members rode from Goose Gossage Park downtown to Acacia Park for breakfast.
Bike to Work Day is sponsored by Mountain Metro Rides and encourages bicycling for personal and community health, alternative transportation, recreation and sustainability.
Get healthy, have fun, ride a bike!

June 27-Mt. Muscoco hike, Cheyenne CañonWe hiked Mt. Muscoco last year, and it was amazing-the highest point in any Colorado Springs City Park, and views forever. This is a challenging hike, with lots of vertical gain, and totally worth the effort! Sign up at this link.Signups coming soon:
July 25-Ute Valley Park hike
Ute Valley Park is a popular place for both hiking and biking with many sandstone cliffs and mesas. The National Trails Day Project on June 6 built new trail in the new 200-acres section previously owned by HP. We will hike the new portion of the park, see the changes that have been made and find out about what’s coming up next. August 25-Mt. Kineo hike, Cheyenne CañonThis is a gem of a trail, with lots of scenic beauty, that is very seldom hiked. This is a challenging hike with significant vertical gain. September 26-Fountain Creek Regional Park “Creek Week” hike and cleanup eventWe’ll hike the Fountain Creek Regional Trail and visit the Nature Center (recently renovated and expanded).After our short hike, we’ll join in the waterway cleanup with the Fountain Creek Watershed team. PARTY-Save the Date-Annual Members Celebration October 22 (Thursday) 6-8 p.m.
