Monument Preserve

Sunday, August 10, 2014 Mount Herman Cleanup

In memory of Devin J Seifert. Devin’s family and friends want to invite the community to join them Sunday, August 10th to honor Devin and help clean up Mount Herman. The focus is to clean up some of the old shooting areas as well as any problem dumping spots along the road. Wear sturdy shoes, sunscreen, and gloves – consider bringing water and a snack.  Rakes and shovels come in handy, and a few wheelbarrows are useful at the different sites. Meet at 9 amat Dirty Woman Park. More information and sign up on the Facebook event page or search for “Devin John Seifert Memorial.” Phone contact: Jon at 719-640-1347. BBQ after the cleanup, at Dirty Woman Park.
Find out more about Friends of Monument Preserve on the web at www.fomp.org, or on Facebook “fomp.org“. Partners include the US Forest Service, Friends of Monument Preserve, and many local businesses donating food, materials, dumpsters, and help.
