Roughly 300 people attended the Parks Master Plan Public Meeting and voted their preferences: Willing to add $2 to your monthly CSU bill to water parks – yes! Should we add more trails? Yes? Attendees were asked 20 questions that addressed maintenance, acquisition, athletic fields and other master plan topics. (When the complete results are available, we’ll post them right here.) The Master Plan has included stakeholders meetings, a scientific survey sent to 1600 households, and finally, the public meeting. Why such an extensive process? Master plans only take place every 10 years. This document will guide spending decisions involving parks, trails and open space projects for the next decade.
