Thanks to close to 1300 of you who dodged raindrops and had fun with us!
Whether by moonlight or raindrops or fog, the Starlight Spectacular has never cancelled.
You started your evening with music by Pulpit Fiction, delicious free pizza courtesy of Borriello Brothers NY Pizza and fresh hot coffee from Colorado Coffee Merchants - plus great prize drawings. We hope you enjoyed your ride, and dined on another great pancake breakfast and green chili courtesy Kings Chef Diner. (That kept us warm!!)
Great Rest Stops
Once again, we will had our famous ‘themed’ rest stops with REI hosting the first fun-filled stop, and Colorado Springs Cycling Club and Old Town Bike Shop outdoing themselves at the second stop at Bancroft Park in Old Colorado City. Hope you enjoyed the costumes, refreshments and maintenance support at each stop.
Why do people ride?
1. It's fun to ride in the dark! A "surreal experience," as many people have told us.
