Sustainable Parks Initiative

Interested members of the public are urged to come to our monthly Sustainable Parks Initiative meeting. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Bear Creek Nature Center. Paul Butcher and Tim Wolken will use this meeting to bring us up to date on how budget cuts are affecting park maintenance. We will continue to discuss plans for a proposed Regional Service Authority to assume responsibility for city and county park maintenance. Your ideas are welcome!
