Bill Koerner – Advocacy Director

Born into an adventuring family in southern California, Bill grew up experiencing the wilds of the Sierra Nevada and the desert southwest.

As a public official for the City of Manitou Springs, Bill led the effort establishing the first publically funded open space, trails and parks program in the region. Bill also served on the City of Colorado Springs TOPS Working Committee, the TOPS extension campaign committee and the TOSC Board. He is currently advocating for Section 16, White Acres, Corral Bluffs, Smith Creek, trails and bicycling and is leading the TOSC Sustainable Parks Initiative, to establish a sustainable parks program for Colorado Springs and El Paso County.

There are always more mountains to climb, places to experience and adventures to live.
