Enjoy a volunteer morning in the Park Oct 11.
|
Please spend a morning outside and help clean up one of our beautiful regional parks, which was damaged in last year’s floods. Appropriate for all ages. Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult volunteer. Wear long pants and closed toe shoes, hat, gloves and sunscreen. Bring water and a snack, if you would like. Trash bags will be provided, and the El Paso County Tool Trailer will be there, in case it’s needed! We’ll start at 8 am with a continental breakfast and end with a hot lunch at noon.

Members-only hike to the top of Cheyenne Mountain takes off 8:30 am October 11. This is a fairly strenuous hike, but the rewards are the views from the trail and from the top. Info and signups at this link. |

Sign up now to volunteer at the Waldo Waldo, October 26th. You can wear your Waldo costume or get one at a discount if you volunteer. Opportunities include helping out the day of the event, or at packet pickup Oct. 20-24 in the afternoons. Details at TheWaldoWaldo.com/volunteer.
